Derived from Yunnan and viral to the Orient, Pu-erh tea is well known as one of the premium teas with meticulous harvest and processing methods. Not only does it offer health benefits such as inhibiting cancer growth and improving cholesterol, but Pu-erh also enchants tea lovers with its unique savor: a mellow bitterness and slight sweetness that blends perfectly with the fresh essence of tangerine.
This beautiful moon season, Hôtel des Arts Saigon is honored to bring the tea culture experience to guests by including four pieces of Tangerine Pu-erh Tea among delightful mooncakes. Harvested by the hardest-working farmers from the North of Vietnam, tea leaves were processed from the spring season over almost 40 days. Around September to October, during the tangerine season, farmers peel and remove the core of the tangerine, then put the Shou Pu-erh Tea prepared in the spring into the tangerine, and finally dry it in the sun, all with the goal of creating a unique flavor for tasters.
Take a sip of Pu-erh tea with a piece of delicious mooncake for a fully immersive experience, as round and complete as the moon.
